At Bella Bunz we believe that people make a difference, therefore we strive to serve the community that serves us! We are inspired by the entities around us, and the SPAR Women’s Race gave us the opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of woman and young ladies.
#Jumping4Petals was born!
Spar Women’s Virtual Challenge – was the catalysis to birth the Bella Bunz initiative #Jumping4petals to combine this wonderful event with Rebounding and do something different and out of the box by NOT walking, NOT running, BUT JUMPING the 10km’s!
From humble beginnings:
In 2021, we started with 30 jumpers – jumping for 10km on a Rebound Fit Studio trampoline and collectively we collected 780 packs of Petals pads! Proving that Bella Bunz can endure 10km’s of exercise without ruining your hair 🙂
2022 was BIGGER & BETTER!
In 2022, we piloted the #Backajumper campaign for the Spar Women’s Race. We approached NON JUMPERS like businesses, family & friends to back (Sponsor) a jumper or multiple jumpers, with minimum R10 for every kilometer they completed! All donations generated was converted to Petal Pads!
We MADE it!!
40 Jumpers, Rebounding the “Spar Women’s Virtual Challenge” made a collective effort together with businesses in their community, together with their family and friends to achieve an astounding achievement of collecting:
More than 2300 packs of Petals pads!!
That is a growth of about 300%!!
SPAR Head office WC presented us with the opportunity to contribute and assist Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women & Children. This Safe haven houses over 130 women and children. That is the safe and protected environment which everyone deserves.
